I loved this tea series!

Would teas that (theoretically, at least) lower general inflammation in the body be indirectly good for brain health as well, such as turmeric?

Hi Deb. So happy to hear. I am visiting my mom in San Diego and I just found the most fabulous tea shop:) I think you may be right about reducing general inflammation in the body, but the theory hasn't been tested with tea. Lots of indirect benefits, though, like when joints are not inflamed a person may be more likely to exercise.

I live in Arizona and it’s time for ice tea. I usually go to coffee shop to get green ice tea. I need to start making my own at home. Which type of green tea is best for ice tea ?

Hi Sherri! Whatever tea you like hot will probably be great iced. Perhaps brewing it a little bit stronger helps the flavor stand up to the ice. Plus, fresh is best. I read that the polyphenols in green tea dissipate by 10% after 2 hours so only make as much as you'll drink in a day. I would love to hear what your favorite iced green tea is!

Rishi Greek Mountain Tea makes you feel like you are in the Blue Zone.

Oh what a wonderful recommendation! Now that I am hyper aware of how quickly polyphenols fade from green tea, I am buying smaller quantities and trying more varieties. Will add this to my list!
